Scott Peterson
I've been meaning to get on here for a long time. Lately, there has been a number of things come up that have taken up the majority of my time. I am going to try and do a blog on my birthday, maybe I can talk about all of that stuff on there. Scott Peterson is the man who killed his wife and unborn child. He is now on death row in San Quentin State Prison. I want to talk about Scott being guilty of murdering his unborn child. The child was 8 months old when it's mother was killed. According to Roe vs. Wade, 7 months makes an unborn child viable. Viable is the ability to live outside the mother's womb without artificial aid. So according to that supreme court decision, Scott's unborn child was a human being, and so he was charged for murder. I don't understand how you can call a 7 month old unborn baby a human being, but not a 1 week old unborn baby? In my opinion, Scott should not be charged with the murder of the unborn baby. Why should he? The baby wasn't born yet. You can have an abortion after the baby becomes viable if it is harmful to the mother's life. Who is to say that this unborn baby would live through birth? Who's to say that the mother might die during delivery, causing the unborn child to be harmful to the mother's life. That is my opinion based on the current state of abortion and the way that case went. This has nothing to do with my belief. I believe that it take a mighty arrogant person to take someone's life into their own hands. If you think about taking someone's life in your hands, that is a HUGE deal. I feel like a lot of people forget about that. Say when people drive drunk, kill someone, suicide bomb, abortion. I just don't know at what point someone thinks that they are hot enough shit to take someone's life into their own hands? Floyd Mayweather Jr. can't take someone's life into his own hand's, but I can't blame him for being cocky b/c he is still undefeated. I don't know if anyone reads this but I would love for someone to respond.
